I've lived in northwest Vermont since 1970 and have been gardening since 1980 when I moved to a house that had a small garden. I've lived in my present home, a 160-year-old farmhouse on six acres, since 1986. My gardening took a serious turn toward obsession when I began cybergardening in 1992, first on Prodigy, then on GEnie, and most recently on Compuserve. My particular interest is perennials, especially unusual ones. I also dabble in vegetable gardening.
